Seasonal Hours - The Christmas tree farm is open from the first Friday after Thanksgiving, from 8am-4pm, 7 days a week, and remains open until they reach their limit for that year's harvest - until around December 21. Please call before planning your trip to Battenfeld Tree Farm.

FROM NEW YORK CITY: take the West Side Highway, north, to the Saw Mill Parkway; north on the Saw Mill to the Taconic Parkway; north on the Taconic, to exit for Route 199. Turn left at end of exit ramp, west (towards Rhinebeck). Continue straight for 3Àù miles, and the Battenfeld treefarm will be on your left.

FROM NEW YORK CITY — Alternative Route from L.I. & Queens: Whitestone Bridge, to the Hutchinson Parkway; to Route 684; north to Brewster, then I-84 West to Exit 16N (Taconic Parkway); Taconic north to the exit for Route 199. Turn left at end of exit ramp, west (towards Rhinebeck). Continue straight for 3 miles; the Battenfeld treefarm will be on your left.

FROM CONNECTICUT: I-84 south and west towards Danbury; continue west on I-84 into New York State, to exit 16-N, for Taconic Parkway (towards Albany). Continue north on Taconic for 25 minutes, until exit for Route 199. Turn left (towards Rhinebeck) at end of exit ramp. Continue straight for 3Àù miles. Battenfeld treefarm will be on your left.

FROM THE NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY: NY Thruway to Exit 19 (Kingston), and follow signs for Kingston - Rhinecliff Bridge. Continue 2.3 miles to 2nd light after crossing the Bridge, turn right onto Route 9G. Continue 2.8 miles south on 9G and exit for Rhinebeck. At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Route 308 and continue east on 308 for approximately 5 miles. The treefarm will be on your right.

FROM ROUTE 9: at Rhinebeck, turn east at the village light, onto Market Street (Route 308), and continue on 308 for approximately 6Àù miles. Treefarm will be on your right, less than Àù-mile after going through 1st traffic lite @ Rock City.
